Creativity starts with an idea, and every idea deserves the chance to grow. Together with Telstar, we're creating a space where young people can discover their creativity, develop new skills, and turn their ideas into something real. Our first Community Champions workshop marked the beginning of a partnership built around inspiring the next generation.
Our first workshop at Telstar
On May 21, 2026, we hosted our very first Mudguard Community Champions workshop at Telstar's stadium. A group of young creatives, around 14 to 15 years old, joined us for a hands-on design session, each bringing their own interests, ideas, and perspective.
From the very first minutes, everyone was fully engaged. Sketchbooks quickly filled with concepts as participants explored ideas and started building their own designs. The workshop focused on sketching as the foundation of the creative process, showing that every strong design begins with putting your thoughts on paper.
Creating opportunities through creativity
Community Champions is about more than designing clothing. It's about helping young people discover their creative potential, build confidence, and learn how to turn an idea into a story. Partnering with Telstar allows us to bring these workshops into a new environment where creativity and community come together. Seeing the enthusiasm and willingness to learn during this first session confirmed exactly why these collaborations matter.
This workshop was only the beginning, and we're excited to continue building new creative experiences together with Telstar.
