MUDGUARD X WASTED GALLERIES POP-UP
Mudguard × Wasted Galleries. Breda, 16-17-18 October 2026.
A packed opening night. Sunshine and a busy shop on Saturday. People still coming through the door when it was time to close on Sunday. For three days, Sint Annastraat 9 was full of clothes, rings, music and people we were very happy to meet.
We went into this weekend excited. We left knowing we had to do it again.

THREE PACKED DAYS

TWO BRANDS. ONE SPACE.
Mudguard × Wasted Galleries.
FRIDAY. WHAT AN OPENING.
On Friday, we opened the doors to our temporary home in the centre of Breda. Clothing on the rails, jewellery on display and both teams ready to welcome everyone in. Familiar faces came by, new people discovered the brands, and the shop quickly became a place to stick around. Then the evening started. The room filled up, the DJs took over and our opening night turned into exactly the kind of party we had hoped for. Looking around at a shop that full, with everyone enjoying themselves, was a moment we’ll remember.
THE DJs UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT.
The music was on point all evening. Huge love to the DJs who brought their sound and kept the room moving, and to everyone who came down and made the opening what it was. GiG joined us as our drinks partner for the weekend, keeping visitors supplied with free seltzers. Let’s just say they went down very, very easily.
SATURDAY. BREDA KEPT COMING.
Saturday picked up right where Friday left off. The sun was out, the city was busy and there was a steady flow of people through the shop. Inside, visitors were trying on clothes, choosing rings and getting to know both brands. Outside, people caught up in the sunshine before heading back in for another look. We met so many new faces that day. Getting to speak to you in person, hear what caught your eye and help you find your piece was one of the best parts of the whole weekend.
MUDGUARD, ON YOU.
Our longsleeves, tees and other pieces spent the weekend being tried on, styled and taken home. Seeing how different people wore the same design gave us plenty to talk about. Visitors also got a first look at unreleased Mudguard pieces alongside the collections and selected archive items. For everyone who found something and made it theirs: we’re looking forward to seeing how you wear it next.
WASTED GALLERIES. FROM SPOON TO STATEMENT.
Sharing the space with Wasted Galleries brought another side of Breda’s creativity into the shop. Their handmade rings start with vintage spoons, carrying the original details into something you can wear every day. Seeing the silverware alongside the finished jewellery made that transformation clear. Throughout the weekend, visitors could explore the rings and necklaces, try different combinations and talk to the people who made them.
A COLLABORATION THAT FELT RIGHT.
Clothes and jewellery came together naturally. A ring tried on with a new longsleeve. A conversation at one display continuing over at the clothing rails. Both brands brought their own identity, and the people visiting brought everything to life. Working together made these three days even better. Big love to the Wasted Galleries boys for sharing the space, the work and the weekend with us.
SUNDAY. NOBODY WANTED TO CALL IT.
Sunday gave us another fantastic day in the shop. More conversations, more people finding their favourites and plenty of energy left after two busy days. Even when closing time arrived, visitors were still coming in. We eventually had to tell people we were closing and couldn’t welcome anyone else. Having to end a weekend that was still going strong felt strange, but it was a very good problem to have.
THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF IT.
To everyone who bought a piece, brought a friend, stopped for a conversation or spent part of their weekend with us: thank you. We loved meeting you. Thank you to Studio& for hosting us, the DJs for the music and GiG for keeping the drinks flowing. And to everyone who helped put the weekend together, from setting up to clearing the last things away: big love.
WE’RE DOING THIS AGAIN.
Three days in Breda gave us plenty of reasons to get everyone together again. We’re proud of what we created with Wasted Galleries, and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
